Ukrainian appeal

Arising from a student voice call from Meagan Byrne in 1st year, we appealed to our parents and the wider community to support Thurles’ efforts to send necessary supplies to the Ukrainian border. We sent an entire van load of supplies from Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed. As the appeal coincided with our school musical, the parent’s association raffle on all nights of the show, was also in aid of these efforts. We also ran a blue and yellow non uniform day. We are pleased to announce that we raised €3,170 in total. We thank Cllr Jim Ryan for sending us the video of the items being delivered. This appeal was very much in line with our ethos which is firmly grounded in #care #equality #community and #respect. We thank all involved and are especially grateful to be able to share with you the videos of the supplies being packed up and delivered.
